TOUR SOUTHWEST FLORIDA

SOUTHWEST FLORIDA

With so many famous cities and high profile destinations, Florida is truly a wonderland that is sought out internationally.  While tens of thousands choose Miami, Orlando, Tampa Bay, Fort Lauderdale and Ponte Verde, many select Southwest Florida's Gulf Coast for their Florida home.  Why?  The answer is long and detailed; however, most are attracted by the fabulous golf, world renowned beaches of Sanibel Island, Fort Myers Beach, Bonita Springs, and Naples.  Salt water and fresh water fishing  attracts anglers from around the globe.  When one adds in the spectacular sub-tropic weather and the numerous other attractions available, no coaxing or salesmanship is necessary to entice those that visit this 40 mile Gulf front paradise.

THE SECRET

While not a secret for those living in Naples, Bonita Springs, Sanibel, and the Fort Myers Beach area, one needs to experience our unique sunsets that crowds gather to oooh and ahhh each day.  Witness the dolphins leaping next to your boat, or simply playing for you while you walk the beach.  Our wildlife is abundant and exotic; enticing many to acquire books to learn and study them.  Your first time snorkeling over coral with its vast array of color and sea life is beyond words.  Included in this captivating seaside is a lifestyle that is not only serene and fulfilling, it is also attainable, and accessible to those that seek it.

Golf Course Plan. 2

GOLF CAPITAL

Currently, there are in excess of 150 golf courses in Southwest Florida.   Naples, Bonita Springs, and the Fort Myers areas have been crowned the nation's golf capital, with more courses in the making.  We boast of golf architects from the world's elite.  The most prominent have designed numerous area signature delights.  Although clubs and courses hoard their tee-time during the winter months, they will open their doors wide other times.  It is truly inconceivable any serious golfer would not think they have found Nirvana.  While the most challenging tests are available for those that seek them, almost all will find places that fit their taste and ability levels.  Many of our new residents will be starting to golf for the first time, and they need not be intimidated by the prospects.  Every level golfer will find their place in this vast array of choices.  Also appealing to many is the easy access to some of the other famous venues throughout the state, and within easy driving time.

CLUB MEMBERSHIP

Depending on your selection of residential styles, there exists any number of golf, tennis, and boating membership combinations.  When we choose to live in a community without amenities, we are free to participate in any number of private or public courses.  Many will purchase what is termed "bundled golf", whereby the club membership is included with your purchase and all residents are members.  Also, many private communities will offer various types of memberships, which include part-time golf to full equity memberships.  Some communities only offer full equity membership, and they are compulsory when you purchase a residence.

MEMBERSHIP FEES

Golf and club memberships come in many different packages.  Some offerings will be straight forward and easily understood.  Others are complex contracts that need to be thoroughly understood before acceptance.  Membership fees can range from no initial payment to in excess of $200,000.  Our guidance can prevent potential pitfalls.

WATERFRONT

When describing our various combinations of gated or open golf communities, it is evident that the possibilities are nearly endless.  Living on the water presents numerous choices as well.  Some will seek Ocean or Gulf front, while others prefer a water view.  When new residents are exposed to South Florida's canal system, a new and wondrous arena of excitement may surface.  Many will seek out a river home.  Every contingency is available.  Single family, high rise or low rise condominium, if waterfront excites your imagination, there may be no more interesting options in America.

BOATING

If your choice is to travel the globe via the water, and you have the proper vessel, you can begin your adventure in your backyard from most any waterfront property in South Florida.  Most of us do not travel the world, but we are able to boat to spectacular venues while never venturing to an open ocean.  Florida's intercoastals provide access to nearly the entire state, without leaving the sight of land.  Floridians possess every type of boat known, and they keep them in every imaginable way; from the backyard to the purchase of various length condominium slips.  Fort Lauderdale sailors will store their sailboat in Cape Coral, and a Cape resident might moor their motor yacht in the Keys.  Others will pull the fishing boat to the Ten Thousand Islands, and many others simply travel the waterways in a leisurely fashion.  Again, the possibilities in boating are unlimited.

FISHING

Southwest Florida has been herald as the fishing capital of the world.   If you fish, there is probably no other place where you will be able to satisfy your desires as in the surrounding waters of Naples, Bonita Springs, and Fort Myers.  Numerous fresh water lakes and rivers are also in abundance for those that miss the Northern experience.  A short venture to the East Coast will also open other exciting possiblities.

MARINAS

Access to marinas or docking space for your boat is nearly indescribable.  Marinas, both public and private permeate our waterways.  Many marinas are residential and are stunning communities.  While some are public docking areas, others become residential for live-a-boards,  or , one may keep their boat on a monthly or yearly basis.  Some Marinas access  Gulf and Oceans, while others abut the rivers and intercoastal waterways.  As previously stated, the options are endless.
