SOUTH FORT MYERS GOLF COMMUNITIES
OLDE HICKORY GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB is a low density 18 hole private bundled (free membership with purchase of property) golf community of 560 residences with a gourmet restaurant, grill/bar, exercise facility, tennis, community swimming pool, grass practice facility, a location 15 minutes from Southwest Florida International Airport, 5 minutes from I-75 off of Daniels Parkway, and 25 minutes from the beaches of Sanibel and Fort Myers Beach. The Ron Garl designed championship golf course have new state of art Tif-eagle greens. Olde Hickory is one of the best maintained and designed courses in Southwest Florida. If you love golf, you will love Olde Hickory. Many natural wooded and wetland preserves have been maintained along the golf course.
LEGENDS GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB is an 18 hole semi-private golf community with 850 bundled golfing residences (free membership with purchase of property) and additional "social" only residencies and memberships. Legends has a community swimming pool with a waterfall, exercise facility, har-tru tennis courts, a gourmet restaurant, grill/bar room, arts and crafts room, pool tables, aqua-range and putting green. Legends is located directly across from Olde Hickory Golf & Country Club. The golf course has wide fairways and is relatively user friendly. There is a difference in annual dues for a golfing and social only membership.
HERITAGE PALMS GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB is a 36 hole semi-private championship golf community with 1,700 bundled golf residences (free membership with purchase of property). Heritage Palms has a community swimming pool, exercise facility, Har-tru tennis courts, gourmet restaurant, grill/bar room, meeting rooms, aqua-range and putting green. Heritage Palms is located off of Six Mile Cypress Parkway in Fort Myers and is about 20 minutes from the airport and beaches.
FIDDLESTICKS COUNTRY CLUB is a low density 36 hole private equity golf community of only 600 residences. The equity membership currently costs an additional $78,000 at time of purchasing a property. Two beautiful Championship golf courses have been recently renovated and have new state of art Tif-eagle greens which require no overseeding in the winter. Fiddlesticks has a community swimming pool, exercise facility, Har-tru tennis courts with a teaching pro, gourmet restaurant, grill/bar room, meeting rooms, grass practice facility with a chipping and putting green. Fiddlesticks is located next to Olde Hickory and Legends at the end of Fiddlesticks Boulevard.
PELICAN PRESERVE is an 18 hole semi-private equity golf community with 500 equity golf memberships costing approximately $40,000 (increases as more memberships are sold). Pelican preserve is an age restricted 55+ community that will build out with thousands of residents - mostly non-golf. It has a beautiful town center with a restaurant, shops, exercise facility, swimming pool, and many other amenities. Pelican Preserve is located East of I-75 and is on `12 minutes from the airport and about 40 minutes from the beaches.
CROWN COLONY is an 18 hole semi-private equity golf community with 500 golf residences. The equity membership costs about $44,000 (depends on closing date). Crown colony has a community swimming pool, exercise facility, tennis courts, gourmet restaurant, grill/bar room, meeting rooms, grass practice facility and putting green. Crown Colony is located near the intersection of Winkler and Summerlin Blvd about 15 minutes from the beaches and 30 minutes from the airport.
